Not too particularly fond of Rachel Maddow but she makes some good points

She thought that Palin was going to withdrawn after being picked? Shows how stupid she is.

Not that I'm a Mccain/Palin supporter, but Palin clearly said that with tongue in cheek. She was absolutely playing on the fact that the only duty of the Vice President is presumably to Preside over the Senate and not much else (of course we've seen exceptions).

"My country has in its wisdom contrived for me the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived; and as I can do neither good nor evil, I must be borne away by others and meet the common fate."
-John Adams on the Vice Presidency

Personally, I think Obama's choice is a lot scarier. Not only is his a warmonger, but he also sponsored and pushed nearly all AAS bills that have been passed.

The fact that John McCain vehemently supported the bullshit congressional hearings into steroids in baseball , is a far more scarier thought.

It's a scary thought no doubt, but he didn't pave the way for steroids to be demonized as they are or classified as they are either. Biden did. If you're an AAS user there is absolutley no way you can justify voting for Biden.
