    I worked in the public schools for awhile as an outside consultant. Kids are not allowed to be punished for their actions. They know they can get away with things and will have no consequences. My kids will never go to public schools in a big city thats for sure.

    My father runs the alternative program (the program for students with behavioral problems) in the border city of El Paso, Tx for the school district there. All the buses that transport these children have a security monitor on-board to prevent these problems. Maybe something they need to look forward to in this school district as well.
