Yeah that is pretty screwed. There is an airport close to where I grew up that cost Illinois almost 200 million and it's been closed the entire 8 years it has been built.

so the hell what, at least it's in america-maybe later that rural area will expand and then it will be used then- or "it will bring business to the area" -they need an airport out there don't they, it has a few flights daily like small airports usually do-i don't see the problem. the us spends 200million in afghanistan and iraq in about 10 minutes..

the problem is the us does not spend enough on infrastructure, us urban infrastructure is much poorer than what they have in europe and asia, .. all the stimulus is doing is repairing crap that is already run down, instead they should be putting it into large projects like modern subways, skytrains, high speed trains, and multiple deck freeways..that would cost alot more than the stimulus but it would create many more jobs because the engineering and construction requirements .. they could get the money by ending the 2 wars and cutting the defense budget in half.. it would also revitalize the inner cities.

are you retarded or something...did you even watch the video, they were fixing stuff that didn't need fixing. A couple flights a day doesn't justify 200million regardless of where else we spend money. Get off your soap box unless you feel like leaning enough so you know what you're talking about.
