A persons sexuality should be private?
Well if there wasn't so much discrimination against a persons sexuality it wouldn't need to be private in the first place.
I remember a few years back I applied to join the police force, and they sent this huge application form and one of the questions asked what sexuality I was. Now what the fvck does that have to do with anything? Of course thats a rhetorical question, but cmon..
As for Obama being slow on bringing more equality to gay people, well nothing can happen over night. I've said before, there is a TON of stuff that Obama is concentrating on, whether you want to believe it or not. The economic crisis, global warming, the two wars, healthcare.
I don't want to sound insensitive, but there are things at the moment in the world and on American soil that need more attention than others. More important things. Prehaps ask the question again in 12 months of what he is doing about gay rights. Haha, prehaps asking if anything has changed 12 months later would be a more pertinent question.
