    Netflix abandoning DVDs in 2 years.

    Looks like the mainstream thing has really taken off and they should make even more money not having to pay for shipping.

    Yea it kinda sucks not having any local movie stores to rent from anymore, I have one mom and pops and they have a terrible selection of blurays.

    That's a shame. There's plenty to watch on instant, but there's so much more that I'm interested in that's disc only.

    Redbox is the new fad and you have to luv the business model. No overhead except for burning CD expenses. People register their credit card numbers and are auto billed $1 for every movie and every day. Brilliant. Now if only they'd offer porn... Big duckies then.

    No worries, I abandoned Netflix DVDs a while ago. All instant download for me.

    Video & audio quality for downloading is still lacking. When there able to do full HD, bitrates & surround sound it will be the way to go.
