Hats off to that guy,, theres no limit to testing anyone that excels in any sport.i have zero respect to those that tested that guy.. The news said he was trying to break a record I believe. I hope im in his shape at 80.

A friend and fellow member here textd this to me earlier today.....

If he entered a tested event and didn't execs to get caught..... I have no respect for the user. If this event isn't ever tested and he got surprised then he's got shit luck lol

I'm pretty sure this guy would qualify as a trt.patient. I wonder why he didn't just do it the legal way. How do tested events handle trt patents?

Wasn't a body builder, he was an oly lifter. Couldn't find any recent photos, but if you search him on YouTube there's a video of him pulling a 250lb clean and jerk at 68.

As far as the TRT questions, from what I have read most athletic sanctions have specific levels that can not be exceeded when on TRT (and of course only Test can be used they frown on Tren LOL) so that in theory those on TRT have no advantage over those not on TRT. However as most here know when you are natural your test level is rarely at peak and will often drop during times of stress and of course when most needed, with TRT and a good monitoring program its no problem to stay right at peak levels.

It really would suck if he were singled out for testing simply because of his age....however as said if its common for competitors to be tested the he really had to expect it to happen and age is does not exclude you from rules adherence.

Thanks for that answer, ffm. The below isn't directed towards you. Just my thoughts on it now that I know how the powers that be treat trt in tested events.

More theory in a physical sport. Bah. Theory is great in generalizations but in actual practice my experience is that results are highly individualized. What the text books and skinny scientists say often doesn't jive with what not only I myself have done but I've also seen others do. I believe allowing a trt.patient in a so called natural event is giving an unfair advantage. Natural is natural. If you happen to have very low test naturally, so be it. That is your natural state. Take your lumps. I can't enter the special olympics. I don't qualify as special for that purpose. If I eat a bunch of stupid pulls or impair my mental capacity somehow, that doesn't change my status.

On TRT I maintain my levels in a range of 550-600. On cycle, my test ranges from 1800-5000 depending on doses and cycle compounds. It's pretty obvious when TRT vs a cycle is being used.
