    An absolute must see...

Whatever your stance in these turbulent times this video is a must see...

Some dude with a go pro records 35 non-stop minutes of him storming the Capitol.
It ends with the death of a woman who was shot by police defending the lobby outside of the chamber with the Congressmen inside.

I am not using her death as click bait.
I am not condoning any of this.
I am saying that this is a must see for any American in these troubled times.
It sheds light on the situation.

    I am shamelessly bumping this.

I truly believe that this footage is historical.

You will be amazed and awed.

People from both sides of the aisle will like it.

I’m not sure how many of those people truly believed they were fighting for a noble cause, how many just wanted chaos, and how many wanted to be part of some kind of twisted adventure.

I feel kind of numb to the insanity at this point. I knew when Trump was running for office that if he was voted in, the country was going to be in for a dangerous ride.

That poor woman dying... that’s a shame. I feel like saying she died doing something really stupid... and she did, and I hate to think that one of her last thoughts was “I could have stayed home today.” Trump put all those people there through his rallying, conspiracy peddling, lying, and poking & prodding his base to act.

Trump played his base like all the most infamous leaders throughout history.

What do you think about it, Dog?

    TestM...

That is partly my point. I am not bashing anyone with this video. Hell... it is filmed and published proudly by a Trumpist.

I think it casts light on mob mentality.
Many of these people actually thought that they were fighting for a higher cause.
Some were just swept up in mob mentality.

The filmer at times would say to the police... hey, stand down, we’re on the same side, we don’t want to hurt you, but if we have to we’ll physically and or harmfully force our way past you like we did to the earlier police.
He thinks he is doing no harm. Yet he also talks of burning it all down.
And then there are times of immense peace and awe when they enter the Rotunda (?) and are overcome with all of it.
These are Americans who believe that the election has been stolen from them. They feel they are doing their Patriotic duty. But they are doing the most unpatriotic of things.

It sheds light on the human psyche.

The conspiracy believers are some of the hardest to level with. They wholeheartedly believe in far-fetched ideas lacking credible evidence and ignore more rational points of view supported by facts. I'm not sure anything can reach these types of people. Paranoia and stupidity are a hell of a combo.
