Progressive Policy Means Crime without Punishment and Chaos with Anarchy

Used to be let them eat cake, now it’s let them stab each other

Torrance Stephens, PhD || 18 hr ago

I was hoping not to have to continue writing about the deluge of lunacy I am constantly confronted with seemingly daily. Although I live in a semi-rural area on eleven acres, it is hard to miss and even more not to care about what is going on. Thus, I have decided that someone must speak up and it may as well be me. I am not afraid like a lot of cats nowadays and will never runaway when I am morally in the right nor stick my head in the sand – I am not an ostrich. I read a lot and frequently find myself recalling from the text that I have read more than forty years ago. I imagine this may be the impetus for the title of this essay. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with Fyodor Dostoevsky or Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov in the novel Crime and Punishment. But I would be dishonest if I didn’t mention it does have something to do with a book, one written by Ayn Rand called Atlas Shrugged. If I could sum up this book in a brief sentiment, it is a metaphor for what righteous folk should do when everything seems fckd up – shrug off the weight and handle your business, in other words you can take a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. I will attempt to expand on and explain what I mean.

What we seem to be forgetting in this great nation is that the Bill of Rights as enshrined in the constitution is for the individual and not the group. Presently it is the group that is venerated over the virtue of the individual citizen. This can only lead to bad for it results in people who are not easily embarrassed and who are willing to put their ignorance and lunacy on full display. This can be observed now in the way some progressives speak on policing and others on the acceptability of letting people (teenagers) stab each other as an unconditional cultural expression.

In the so-called George Floyd autonomous zone, black businesses have been left to dry. They ask for police but the jobless activist terrorizing the neighborhood are more concerned with suppressing black business than supporting them. This makes no sense. They amplify the calls of defunding and/or abolishing the police by those who already have private or state security. Their steady logorrheic contention of “here a racist there a racist everybody is a racist” is nauseating. This is especially true with any discussion pertaining to the police. It is beyond me as to why people who proclaim that looking at people as a group without examining the individual would themselves, dehumanize an entire profession without looking at the individual. This is common in densely urban populated areas. Personally, I think police should leave these places and move to rural areas where they are appreciated. They should give the plurality what they voted for, for a compromise is not possible and, in the end, they will panic when police are not there to protect them. This is the outcome of progressive dogma at its best.

Historically, progressive liberal American politics has promoted eugenics, compulsory housing segregation, and the sterilization of blacks and others they considered unfit and the exclusion of immigrants based on race. They formed the politics that served as the Foundation of Jim Crow legislated segregation and overall vicious state-sponsored racism. The progressive era policy qualified then as now, can be considered the single worst period since Emancipation. I say now because they use “colored” to reference non-whites more than they did in the 1950s. Take for example one public high school in Madison, Wisconsin, posting two links – one for "parents of students of color only" and another Zoom link for “white parents.” If this isn’t segregation nothing is. They may as well be using "Colored Only" signs. It is as if they are bringing back segregation and the discrimination against races that was prevalent before the Civil Rights Movement. This is merely resegregation of America progressive style. An additional example regards a writer (white) for the Washington Post named Glenn Kessler, who targeted Sen. Tim Scott for being Black. He tried to nullify and whitesplain his claim that his family went from “cotton to Congress in one lifetime” by saying since his family owned land it wasn’t accurate and that his experiences wasn’t Black. I take it the goal was to create a narrative rather than examine the condition for any observer of history would know that for Blacks, being land poor was common for many in the south after the Civil War until 100 years later. Let that sink in, a rich white progressive sitting behind a keyboard in decision of whether a Black man’s experience in America is Black enough. I take it his point is that one’s Black grandfather having to pick cotton who has a different political belief system than said rich white progressive behind a keyboard is unacceptable and must be put in his place.

This is the problem, without a knowledge base and promotion on the incentive of political ideology and narrative alone, liberal progressives think that people should live and think the way they want them to – their desire is to push their will on to the people. This goes back to thinking that the group is paramount to the individual. This is the reflection of the mob as individual. They promote rage and have no compassion. The mob is a destructive and chaotic force without moral principles and is never satisfied because they are just a fringe group of free-range leftists (some of which occupy congress) that see words as violence and inappropriate behavior as being acceptable when it is advocated by members of their team. There is no clearer an example of this than the commentary that has arisen since the shooting death of Ma'Khia Bryant.

Let black idiots selected by the progressive media round table tell it, Ma'Khia Bryant was an innocent victim of the white supremacist patriarchy. Never mind she was about to try and kill someone, what you see isn’t important and Black teens have knife fights all the time trying to kill each other ergo it is acceptable behavior. The arguments seem to be (insofar as I can translate illogic) that it is normal to let them fight and attempt to kill each other, as if they are eating cake. Media seems to agree for I found no story with the title “White cop saves black teen from stabbing.” Instead, Attorney Ben Crump described her as being unarmed. Congressional Black Caucus Chair Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH) pretended that police officers “could shoot in the air” and that “teachers go and break up fights with knives every day.” Funny thing to me is that it is only a knife fight when both have knives, ain’t she seen Westside Story? Former advisor to Barack Obama Valerie Jarrett hasn’t seen Westside Story either for she tweeted that she was:” … killed because a police officer immediately decided to shoot her multiple times in order to break up a knife fight.”

But in their eyes, it is cool, let them stab each other. They don’t care because the same week in Ohio, a 13-year-old girl stabbed another 13-year-old to death during a fight. They don’t care because same day a few blocks away from where Ma'Khia Bryant was shot, a 15-year-old male was shot dead by another 15-year-old after the two teens exchanged gunfire. They don’t care, it is just to stoke division and keep them a paycheck coming or else the entire nation would know the name of Nichelle Thomas, who was shot in the head in broad daylight in New York City this past week and the names Dallis and Dakota Bentley, who were stabbed to death by their mother 23-year-old Danezja Kilpatrick.

This is the image of progressive America: if the narative doesn't fit a political objective, either lie or engage in make believe. Their world isn't one of compassion but one of rage and anger. They know this. This is what they crave. Without punishment for criminality there will only be chaos and anarchy and they cool with that. So to law enforcement, leave these cities to their wants. Do not allow them to pimp you, for they make enough loot currently pimping systemic racism and other falsehoods. We all need to speak out, I do even amidst the steady threats of death I get mostly from white folk via email. I suggest they post them in the comments but cowards do what cowards do. They don't scare me and never will. Courage doesn't hide, it shows its face on the frontline.

Man, that was really powerful testimony right there

I've been trying to get that point across for more than a decade.

If left alone, people get along. There is no such thing as systemic racism strictly against people of color. America is not a racist nation. American people are mostly decent people. Our nation is not evil. We're just infected by a corrupt, globalist cabal bent on selling out America, to own the world.

The democrat party has been doing this for more than a century. It's a business for them, and they have an easily identifiable business model they use over and over again. It's the biggest con of modern times.

It's reassuring to me to see that people are beginning to wake up and see it..... finally.

    There is hope
