120+ retired military flag officers: US ‘under assault’ by socialists, Marxists, ...

    May 11, 2021 Liz George

More than 120 retired military flag officers with Flag Officers 4 America published an open letter Monday warning that the United States is in “deep peril” and under “tremendous assault” by supporters of socialism and Marxism, urging Americans to get involved in “a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding.”

“Under a Democrat Congress and the Current Administration, our Country has taken a hard left turn toward Socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government which must be countered now by electing congressional and presidential candidates who will always act to defend our Constitutional Republic. The survival of our Nation and its cherished freedoms, liberty, and historic values are at stake,” the letter states.

“We urge all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable,” it continued. “The “will of the people” must be heard and followed.”

In the letter, the retired generals and admirals slammed the 2020 election process, citing “election irregularities.” The group also argued that Democrats’ bills H.R. 1 and S. 1, designed to federalize voting standards, would “destroy election fairness” and “[end] our Representative Republic.”

“Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost. Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc,” the letter reads.

“Today, many are calling such commonsense controls ‘racist’ in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic,” the letter continues. “Additionally, the ‘Rule of Law’ must be enforced in our election processes to ensure integrity. The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020. Finally, H.R.1 & S.1, (if passed), would destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic.”

The group’s letter also criticized the Biden administration for behaving in a “dictatorial manner” with the signing of more than 50 executive orders in order to change Trump administration policies rather than going through Congress.

“Aside from the election, the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations. Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental Rights,” the group wrote.

“We must support and hold accountable politicians who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic, and insist on fiscally responsible governing while focusing on all Americans, especially the middle class, not special interest or extremist groups which are used to divide us into warring factions.”

There are 900 flag officers in the US.
Not sure how many are retired.

Let's just guess it is 900+.
(I am not stating as a fact.. if someone has this info then please provide it...)

    So...
    120+ our of 900+ is about 13%...

Considering about 33% of the general population are Republicans...

That would mean only the true hard core retired Trumplicans have signed on board.

So... I am not surprised that some retired Trumplicans have signed a letter.
Hell... Over 400 (and climbing) Trumplicans right now are being arrested for storming the Capitol.

Nothing surprises me anymore in this world.

    Hell...
Cheney was just the most recent victim in the Republican cancel culture... for telling the truth.

I respect these veterans for their service.
But I don't respect their stance on this matter.

So you're saying it's Donald Trump's fault that some veterans are dismayed by the policies of the biden administration? That's puzzling. Do you have any evidence of this? Or is it just your opinion?

I think Liz Cheney was ousted and will be primaried because she's supposed to bring Wyoming values to Washington DC.

Not Washington DC values to Wyoming.

And I respect thier point of view. Even if I don't agree. I expect ousting her will likely lead to her having a spot "the view" or maybe her own show on msdnc somewhere. They could've just let the inevitable happen when the people of Wyoming fire her for representing herself and the interest of Washington DC instead of them and the interest of Casper or Cheyenne.

Per General Mcininerny she was taken out of leadership Wednesday bc Chris Miller was testifying that day in Washington DC & she can’t keep your big mouth closed.

Are you surprised she’s a crook? Her father didn’t do some of the bids for the private sector in Iraq war. Instead he pocketed it choosing his own contractors.

These are disgusting people who need a firing squad in Gitmo detention camp.

No I'm not surprised at all. Lizard Cheney is a big government swamp rat. It's just that simple.

When the time came and the lines were drawn with the people vs the swamp, of course she sided with the swamp. Like Joe Biden, the swamp has made her family very wealthy.

They need to boot her corrupt ass right out of the gop. Make her stand openly with the swamp and the democrat party (same thing, same people), Because if you know someone has a knife for your back, better to not let them behind you. Best to keep them in front of you and be clear about how close you'll allow them to get
