    Very cool, Tarmyg!!
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I love seeing pictures or video of the past in color. On youtube they have a bunch of re-mastered (in color) videos going all the way back to the late 1800s. Some are videos of driving down streets, or videos of Germany after WW2, with everyone (women and children) clearing out the rubble from the wreckage. In the one scene in Paris they drive by a building which I find out is a brothel, and I notice the women were dressed skimpier than the rest (Still nothing compared to the average girl on the street today). I find that kind of stuff fascinating. Back then people would stare at the camera like it was something from a different planet, now everybody is Quentin Tarantino with their mobile devices.

If you like that you might love this movie (you might have seen it already). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrabKK9Bhds Especially interesting to hear how they talked about their experiences. It's quite a bit of a difference compared to today!

Incredible... it was painful to watch those faces. Poor boys/men, now long gone. I will watch this tonight.
