I mean, this young Russian didn't demonstrate any sense of survival skills. He not only defects with one of his nation's engines of warfare (certainly, the technology onboard the air machine was no State secret), and during his defection he fails to inform / consult his preplanned decision with his crew, resulting in their resistance and killing at the hands of the Ukrainians, but when given a Ukrainian passport; he flees only to Spain, to attempt to secrete himself in Alicante; a coastal city with a substantial number of both Ukrainian and Russian ex-pats living there... What did he think was going to happen...
