The low test dose you are on is really just replacement, and shouldn't cause a problem. The ephedra, on the other hand, could cause all sorts of irregular beats. If you stop the ephedra beforehand you should be OK.

Try ending your cycle 2-3 weeks before you see the doctor, then your test levels will plummet and he can give your the prescription. 100mg per week is on the low side for HRT, I think. Some of the online clinics recommend much more.

I'm no doc but a paramedic who is familiar with EKG's also I am on HRT And yes the ephedrine could def cause irregularities in a EKG, but so wil caffeine etc.

    I'm an internist & cardiologist.

Ephedra will cause irregs, but usually only a fast heart rate...Which can be caused by nerves, caffeine, etc...
If you have high blood pressure (genetically or from supplements) you can place added strain on your heart & develop left ventricular hypertrophy which will most definitely show on an EKG.
Otherwise, in most cases, you'd need to have a pre-excisiting condition in order to have ephedra show on an EKG.
