    Steroids and training routine

I am 45 and been training naturally for about 28 years.
the past 1 1/2 years I used the 5x5 routine and made great strength and size gains on chest and arms. About 6-7 weeks ago I went to the dark side and was wondering if I could keep using this routine or should I ad more volume since the AAS will help me recover better. I am actually looking for a routine that will help me maximize my strength and size gains while on AAS. It took me about 25 years to learn that I had been overtraining all those years and I don't want to repeat that mistake even while on AAS.

just do what you are doing if it works good for you.

as long as you keep gaining strength and size there is no need to change training routine.

personally I did 3sets x 10reps when I started training, I did gain but it was not much, then I checked around the net and found 3x6 and this worked wonders for me, my strength went up alot. this is all natural ofcurse...

took me 1 year to learn that, so I quess I was lucky LOL

    Good luck m8

I'm with you, I overtrained for years, and I think it's even easier to overtrain at my age now 48, without the natural hormonal cascade of a 25 year old. Gh and trt has helped me immensely in recovery and growth.
