Hello,
I'm 42 years old.
I'm a new member here but have a full history of athletics, training and nutritional knowledge.
I initially came here with the intent to do preliminary research for my very first cycle of HRT based on compelling new(er) information regarding it's benefits. After encountering much difficulty getting any help from my Doctor (HMO) and unexpected difficulty finding a source, I've decided to try a legal non-hormone alternative in the interim. Today I started an 8 week cycle week of ALRI's 'Jungle Warfare' in conjunction with the outlined prerequisites gathered from many sources involving training, diet and liver support. I've read positive cycle logs online regarding JW with a few minor and acceptable side affects. If I'm not satisfied (and maybe even if I am) with the results of the JW cycle as they apply to my training goals, I may continue to pursue the test-based cycle I originally intended. I've completed the necessary prerequisite testing through my Doctor with very positive results (I dont have any 'deficiencies' that qualify me for HRT according to him) so he was evasive and unwilling to provide anything further in regard to HRT. I'd like to add that I really enjoyed this article: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=35496
My goals:
Overcome some minor yet long standing genetic plateaus (primarily proportionately small biceps and overall chest fullness)
Faster progress-size/strength gains
Faster/better recovery
Stave off negative effects of aging/decreased natural hormone production associated with aging, specifically 40+
my questions and concerns:
- Based on my goals and age, what would be an ideal first cycle? Currently I'm considering the basic test/d-bol/nolv cycle. What would be the estimated cost for a cycle including PCT?
- Should I attempt to find a Doctor/specialist in HRT? If so, does anyone have recommendations? Ideally in Seattle, WA.
- Are there legal alternatives including Jungle Warfare that are at all comparable in effect to steroids? If so, what?
I apologize for any redundancy in my query based on previous posts by others on this topic or in other threads. I've scanned and absorbed alot here but would really appreciate some personalized advice.
Thanks in advance
'Merc'
