Man is my shoulder sore! I was using a 22 gauge 1 1/2" needle and ran out when it was time for my next injection of winny. I used a smaller diabetic needle instead. After the injection my delt was extremely sore. More so than when I used the 22 gauge. 36 hours later I have a slightly swollen, warm area that is very painful. No blood came into the needle when I injected. Since the diabetic needle is only 1/2" long; it may not have been long enough to get deep into the muscle tissue to spread throughout. Has anyon ever experienced this type of pain and if so what did you do to ease the pain?
