Intentionally dropping your test levels
I'm 41 and up for a blood test Friday to see if my 'test is low enough' to qualify me to participate in a study:
viagra and testosterone vs. viagra and placebo
I don't have 'andropause' as my PCP told me my 'hormones are normal' like 6 months ago but as you probably know that doesn't mean that they are not completely out of whack and very low for my age and very low for my optimal health. I didn't ask him for any numbers.
So in anticipation of the blood test Friday I have been consuming alcohol at night. I've drank a 5th of JD in the past week, taking 1 night off. I think I drank about 4-5 shots worth a night aproximately but just swigged out of the bottle so not sure but I did consume a 5th in the past week.
Is that ammount of alcohol consumtion enough to knock down my test levels? (my goal is to qualify for the study obviously), I have a 50-50 shot of being put on test for 6 months in addition to getting 3 viagra per week plus cash. My sole motivation is the opportunity to get on test though.
I have one night left (tomorrow night) prior to the Friday am blood test. Is drinking 4-5 shots enough to reduce test levels or does it take like 10 drinks or something?
I don't have the willpower to starve myself for 24 hours and really can't handle the short term side effects of significantly reducing my sleep the night before the blood test so it seems all I am left with is consuming alcohol.
I might be able to shorten my sleep from 7 hours to like 4 but don't want to do that unless it will really have an effecdt on my test levels. Any more than that is not an option for me.
So how am I looking thus far? Will the 4 or so shots per night for the past week lower my test? Will another 4-5 shots tomorrow night be enough or do I really have to go for it and drink 8+ drinks or something?
Feedback really apprecated. Thanks.
