    Turk, you are so right!

To this day I can remember when I was in my teens saying to myself "well, at least I am still in my teens", and in my twenties thinking that at least I am not 30 yet! LOL!!

Today I am about a month away from 50, and looking back on it it is kinda funny as I feel much better about myself now than I did back then. And bodybuilding has played a big part in that, and always will!

We all grow old...even the young big buff teens and 20 somethings in the gym.... if we are lucky.

    And yes, come on 50!

And thanks for the compliment Turk.....and I gotta tell you, 6'3" and 271? Jeez, you're no skinny guy on the beach yourself....that is BIG!! The best to you and your 3 year old daughter.....happy chasing!

Thank you for the warm welcome gentlemen. That is great advice Turk, thank you.

I know I have done a lot of traveling over the past 2 years that I just couldn't do before. We went to the Bahamas, Mexico, Hawaii, Taiwan and Thailand. All within a year and a half. My fiance is 12 years younger than me so it's nice to be able to go places and see things while we're still considered a "young couple". I'm the weak link of course. I never did much major traveling when I was younger. Mainly because of finances of course. But I always recommend to my friends to travel as much as they can before they get too old. There is so much to see and learn from other cultures. We are so sheltered here in the USA. I will have all the time in the world to travel when I retire and I will. But there is nothing like going to Ibiza, Spain and fitting in with the younger crowd while creating memories of a lifetime. We are doing Ibiza this fall too.

Turk, I have a 4 month old beautiful baby boy. I also have a handsome 12 year old boy as well. Congrats on your 3 year old daughter. Kids keep you young.

Turning 30 was no big deal to me. Some people it is really hard. I will have to admit turning 40 is kind of scary to me. I don't feel any different, it's just a ominous number in my mind. How did you guys feel right before your 40th?

That's you in your avatar? Wow!

Yep, we are NW boys. Nice to meet you! Can you believe we just went 29 days with no rain? We just had an incredible spring. Last year the weather didn't get nice until literally the 1st day of summer. We have been out on our boat about 15X already.

Maybe get admin to put a sub section in to the over forties section called "STORIES OF LIFE BY THE OLD GITS". Now this would be a blast . Lots of us similar like minded people from all different walks of life telling stories of those moments in life you can remember like it was yesterday except they get better each time you tell them!!!!!!!!!!!
