First Cycle for a 50 year old?

Hi, I have posted a couple times. I am 50 yrs old, healthy and active. Have been working out a little over a year (five times a week) 1-2 hrs a time. I now have my diet under control at 4000 to 4500 a day ( a little more on Sundays my cheat day) I am ready to try a cycle. I am pretty sure its going to be Test only. I am a little confused still on which one?.....and how much? I am 190lbs and want to gain some size. I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks you and all the best!

Do you want a cycle with post cycle therapy which means more than Test?
or simply Testosterone therapy which would be ongoing without interuption....

and might want to read some threads in the "Hormone Replacement Forum" too.....to get some ideas
or the "Anabolic Q&A" forum if you are interested in a cycle

Hi, sorry I guess I should have been more clear. I am not seeking HRT. My total Test level is 680. I am planning a cycle of Test w/PCT. I am just looking for opinons on the different ones Test-Sup etc.... I have read alot on here and I am pretty sure about sticking with Test only and PCT. Thank you, Robert

It becomes more difficult to recover your pre-cycle test levels as you get older. Pct may not be as effective as someone who is 31. This is not definite but more likely. I would take into consideration the thought of needing trt going forward after a couple of cycles.

I'm not sure why people like to push towards TRT, I see it on many threads when there has been no mention of low test symptoms.

You can cycle safely at your age Robert, I would look more at short cycles and using HCG on the cycle for sure.

Just a good idea going in with eyes wide open. How is the rest of your bloodwork? Free test, shgb, e2, Fsh, Lh etc...? You will want to have a baseline before you start or you will never really know if you have recovered.
