i think i'm seeing the light.

i'm a serious weightlifter, having started in college to support sports (lacrosse), then continuing into grad school to help keep me sane. i took ten years off and then re-started seriously about 15 years ago. for years, i was doing the basic thing young one's do, psuedo powerlifting to throw up more weight.

in the last year, i've started more of a HIT, mind-muscle program and am seeing feeling some good things. first the bad news - my strength is down. but the benefits are significant... i've got almost the same size, i'm leaner, my joints don't hurt as much, and my workouts are faster (i have more time to do other things).

so... for those looking to change things up and preserve joints, give HIT a shot!
