I finally got my balls back

It’s about time. I’m 55 years old and 220 lbs of fat and blubber. No muscle. I started my TRT in April 2018 with 200 mg per week split into two doses, one every 3.5 days. My bloodwork stays between 1300 and 1500. I gave up the anastrozole so as not to crash my E2 level.

Everything has been good, but my balls shrunk and my ball sack disappeared. It looked like you stuck a piece of baloney up against my skin where they used to be.

One of my ladies doesn’t really care for balls, so no big deal there. The other one likes to incorporate them in the action, so she has been commenting and complaining . I eventually got tired of saying “it’s just cold in here tonight”.

After reading about it here, I told my guy I wanted to try hCG. He prescribed me 500iu, twice a week. It came in a 11,000iu vial. I am about half way done with the bottle, and the ballsack has returned. The balls are finally bigger than M&M’s again.

Do I have to keep this routine going as long as I am on TRT, as long as I don’t want to appear to be a eunuch?

Is there a long term problem taking this particular level of hCG?

I'm a proponent of HCG. That said, is it absolutely necessary, not really. It mimics LH which isn't produced when on exogenous testosterone. Some guys feel a benefit from it and some simply don't. There's some threads at the top of the HRT Forum that may help you understand it better. Also know that it will increase both test and estrogen levels so blood work should be done to adjust. In my opinion you do not need 500 IU's twice per week. 250 will work just fine. Save yourself some money.

Many report a much better libido when on HCG and a feeling of well being. Regarding keeping the routine going, yes if you want your testicals to receive the necessary signals (LH) to maintain size and functionality. Zero long term issues.

thanks for your reply. i got the same comment on another forum regarding 500 being too high. i will try 250 starting this week.

500iu was fine to get them started back up but for myself I would back it down to 250iu 2X wk from here on out.
