Why does no one ever mention tribulus in the pct. Does it not stimulate natural test production.

To a very small extent, from what I understand. There would no harm in throwing it into your PCT program and will help with libido. I personally think that tongkat ali is much more potent. Just don't base your PCT around any herbal supplement. You don't really need these and they don't raise your natty test levels all that much.
Tribulus has its place at the end of PCT, IMO
once hcg and/or clomid treatment is completed, then use the trib to ease transition back to normal test levels (use can still run half the usual doasge of nolva as well)
using trib smack in the middle of pct is like a drop of ink in an ocean
using trib AS PCT after a steroidal cycle is just plain silly
cheers
Agreed. Use the trib after you do you PCT. that is good advice.
J Ethnopharmacol. 2005 Oct 3;101(1-3):319-23. Links The aphrodisiac herb Tribulus terrestris does not influence the androgen production in young men. Neychev VK, Mitev VI. ***artment of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Medical University, 2 Zdrave str., Sofia-1431, Bulgaria. [email protected] OBJECTIVE: The aim of the current study is to investigate the influence of Tribulus terrestris extract on androgen metabolism in young males. DESIGN AND METHODS: Twenty-one healthy young 20-36 years old men with body weight ranging from 60 to 125 kg were randomly separated into three groups-two experimental (each n=7) and a control (placebo) one (n=7). The experimental groups were named TT1 and TT2 and the subjects were assigned to consume 20 and 10 mg/kg body weight per day of Tribulus terrestris extract, respectively, separated into three daily intakes for 4 weeks. Testosterone, androstenedione and luteinizing hormone levels in the serum were measured 24 h before supplementation (clear probe), and at 24, 72, 240, 408 and 576 h from the beginning of the supplementation. RESULTS: There was no significant difference between Tribulus terrestris supplemented groups and controls in the serum testosterone (TT1 (mean+/-S.D.: 15.75+/-1.75 nmol/l); TT2 (mean+/-S.D.: 16.32+/-1.57 nmol/l); controls (mean+/-S.D.: 17.74+/-1.09 nmol/l) (p>0.05)), androstenedione (TT1 (mean+/-S.D.: 1.927+/-0.126 ng/ml); TT2 (mean+/-S.D.: 2.026+/-0.256 ng/ml); controls (mean+/-S.D.: 1.952+/-0.236 ng/ml) (p>0.05)) or luteinizing hormone (TT1 (mean+/-S.D.: 4.662+/-0.274U/l); TT2 (mean+/-S.D.: 4.103+/-0.869U/l); controls (mean+/-S.D.: 4.170+/-0.406U/l) (p>0.05)) levels. All results were within the normal range. The findings in the current study anticipate that Tribulus terrestris steroid saponins possess neither direct nor indirect androgen-increasing properties. The study will be extended in the clarifying the probable mode of action of Tribulus terrestris steroid saponins. PMID: 15994038 [PubMed - indexed for MEDLINE]

Also - if it effects libido as has been stated - how would it be doing this without increasing hormone levels ?
I have heard people say they get hornier on it but that could be in the mind...
This is extremely intriguing...well, you learn something new everyday..can't argue with that! Well thats good then, I'll save my money for more gearOriginally Posted by Anthony Roberts

Good to know. That settles that. I have heard this before, but never seen a study. I have 3 bottles here doing nothing now.

I post studies and crap like that all the time in it.
Thanks Anthony, its good to have the facts!
Just as I suspected. tribulus has a marginal effect on testosterone levels, it doesnt really do alot. My guess is ZMA supplimentation works better if you are actually deficient, but even then, even a small dose of clomid would probably increase LH/test more than these ideas. I used to love tribulus, but now I realise its mostly a waste of money.
I have a bottle of trib, and the other night, just to see how this shit works, I took 10 caps before I went to sleep, and the next morning I woke up with morning wood that can compete with when I was on a cycle!
(additional info: Im in week 2 of pct, and last time I checked my test levels were low, so the morning wood was definally from the trib.)
go with clomid
