Just Nolvadex for PCT for beginner cycle?

Is Nolvadex by itself at 20 mg/day for 4-6 weeks sufficent by itself for PCT?
My cycle was Sustanon for 9 weeks and Equipoise for 6 weeks and Deca for 3 weeks. (I did EQ for the first 3 weeks, then got my hands on deca and did that for 3 weeks and then am finishing back up with the EQ.) Yes i should have just stayed with either EQ or Deca straight through to let it build up in my system, but forget what I did wrong. Im looking for what to do right now that I am about to stop and begin PCT.

Is Nolvadex by itself good for PCT for this cycle. Im guessing that throwing in Aromasin at 20 mg/day also would be better as well as some HCG but not sure if I can get my hands on those. And no comments on the should have got that first before you began the cycle lol. Just wondering if Nolva by itself will help get the test levels going again. I read on the board that its pointless to mix clomid with nolva from the Anthony Roberts PCT writeup.

"Although both Nolvadex and Clomid are both SERMs, they are actually quite different. As you already know, Nolvadex is highly anti-estrogenic at the hypothalamus and pituitary, while Clomid exhibits weak estrogenic activity at the pituitary (7), which as you can guess, is less than ideal. It should be avoided for the PCT I’m suggesting…and in fact, avoided in general…it’s simply not as good as Nolvadex.

Need I even add that the 150mgs of Clomid you need to get the hormonal increase experienced with 20mgs of Nolvadex is much more expensive? So lets dump the Clomid…and no, using it along with Nolvadex will provide no “synergy” that I’ve ever seen in any relevant study.

SO how much Nolvadex should you use during PCT? I favor using 20mgs.day, although to be totally honest, you can probably even get away with far less than that. Doses as low as 5mgs/day have proven to be as effective as 20mgs/day for certain areas of gonadal stimulation. (8) 20mgs/day, however, is a dose that myself and others have used with great success, and the research I’ve done in this area typically uses this milligram amount. SO lets stick with 20mgs/day for now ..."

So anyone who has used just Nolvadex and can let me know how it worked for them and how long it took to "get or feel" back to normal levels. Thx!

I just found this while researching Nolvadex in more detail ...

What are some of the more common side effects of taking tamoxifen (Nolvadex)?

In general, the side effects of tamoxifen are similar to some of the symptoms of menopause. The most common side effects are hot flashes and vaginal discharge. Some women experience irregular menstrual periods, headaches, fatigue, nausea and/or vomiting, vaginal dryness or itching, irritation of the skin around the vagina, and skin rash. As is the case with menopause, not all women who take tamoxifen have these symptoms. "Men who take tamoxifen may experience headaches, nausea and/or vomiting, skin rash, IMPOTENCE , or a DECREASE in sexual interest."

I thought the whole purpose of taking Nolvadex was to increase natural testosterone levels therefore eliminating Impotence and keeping the libido strong and back to normal? Why would people want to become impotent on purpose to try and keep gains. Is there a better way than nolvadex without the impotence issue? thx.

Maybe I should consider Clomid even if it is weaker to avoid the Impotence issue? I want to keep my gains as i have gained 20 lbs in 10 weeks, but I dont want to be impotent for 2-3 months.

    "Clomid and effects of estrogen
Offers dual effect of blocking out some of the effects of estrogen, while also increasing endogenous testosterone production. Clomid is the anti-estrogen of choice for improving recovery of natural testosterone production after a cycle, improving testosterone production of endurance athletes, and this drug is also effective in reducing risk of gynecomastia during a cycle employing aromatizable steroids. While it has been claimed that Clomid "stimulates" production of LH and therefore of testosterone, in fact Clomid's activity is achieved not by stimulation of the hypothalamus and pituitary, but by blocking their inhibition by estrogen."
