    some HCG questions

    just wondering about this HCG i just got. this will be my fouth cycle but first time using HCG. i was planning on running 500iu twice a week the last 4 weeks up to my PCT. so i got this HCG, and it's some powder, 5000iu, in one amp and an amp of what appears to be around 2ml of bacteriostatic water. so should i just open the amps, combine them, put 500 iu doses into slin pins and refrigerate them?(HCG does need refrigerated after mixing right?) is any filtering needed, or do i just swirl the powder in with the liquid and draw? i was just going to put .2 ml(since the concentration would be 2500iu/ml)in 8 slin pins and refrigerate. does this all sound right? if not, please help me out. thanks.

    It dissolves almost instantly. I draw the solution into a 3ml syringe and then transfer it to a sterile vial. So far I've been adding 5ml of bacteriostatic water to the solution which gives 1000iu/mL. So, that keeps injections pretty small. Right now I just started 250iu 2x a week but I'm doing the same as you, this is the last 4 weeks of my cycle and then I'll continue throughout PCT.

    Yes, refrigerate it! Also, only mix one amp at a time since I believe the shelf life is pretty short on HCG .

    And yes, you can pre-load the slin pins and keep them in the fridge. Pesonally I do as Serotonin and transfer to a sterile vial and then draw the required amount from it.

    The breakdown as I understand it is like this. If you have a 2000iu container then 1ml water equals that full container. If you want to lower the dosage then increase water:

    2000iu = 1ml water
    1000iu = 2ml water
    500iu = 3ml water

    HCG does need to be in the fridge after you mix the solution.

    No mixing is required it will dissolve on contact.

    Your HCG should be in a pressure filled bottle so when you put the needle in all the water will suck right into the ampule.

    Make sure to change the draw needle from the injection needle.

    Hope that helps....

    the HCG is in an amp, i don't know about the pressure filled bottle. and if using slin pins for a sub-q inject, is it OK to use the draw pin for the inject? the needle isn't changeable on slin pins i thought? i suppose after reading this, i'll mix some water in the amp the HCG is in, then transfer it to a sterile vial that i'll keep in the fridge.

    BTW...the water you need to reconstitute HCG is bacteriostatic water.

    Calculating HCG:

    There isn't a specific ratio of cc/ml to IU. It depends on how you mix it. It's quite simple. If you dillute 5,000 IUs HCG with 5ml (cc) solvent, the end result is 1,000 IUs per ml (cc). Divide the same 5,000 IUs with 10 ml (cc) and the end result is 500 IUs per ml (cc). Therefore, a large part depends on the concentration of HCG per ampoule or vial.

    Mixing HCG:
    (Items needed: bacwater h20 and some 5ml emty vials-get****).

    1) Open hcg/amp with powder
    2) Use a syringe to pull out 1cc of BacWater and put in amp with HCG
    3) It will instantly dissolve
    4) Then Use an empty 5ml vial (sterile and sealed) put 4ml of Bacwater in the vial
    5) Take syringe and ad the mixed HCG solution to the 5ml vial
    6) Shake it and you have 5000IU's of HCG
    7) Than draw 1cc and inject
    8) put the rest in the refrigerator

    •The reason your discarding the amp of solvent cause its made for 1 times use and you wouldn’t be able to refrigerate it and use it a week later again. That’s why you need Bac H2o.
    •The most common side affect associated with HCG is gynecomastia . The concurrent intake of Nolvadex with HCG prevents gynecomastia, prevents/minimizes leydig cell desensitization and contiues the stimulation of pituitary LH once HCG has been discontinued.
    •HCG will last approximately 30 days if mixed with Bac h2o instead of the solvent it comes with.
    •You can keep the mixed hcg in vial or pins In the fridge till use

    Rogue, I understand you are trying to help, but a large portion of your post was misinformed, confusing and wrong.
    For mixing instructions, just follow Kale's post above.
    And you don't need a "pressure filled"container to force the mixture into you needle.
    There should be no need to change the draw and inject needle, since you should be using a slin pin anyways.
