Thread: Losing My HAIR!

    Losing My HAIR!

I have been losing my hair since being off gear for about 1 year now. I read that gear can stay in your body for up to 18 months. Is that true? And if so then does that mean that my hair may have a chance of coming back later. My cycle was 300mg of primo/week and 300mg of prop/week. The whole time on I did nolvadex. And for PCT I kept doing nolvadex and added clomid for about 2 weeks.
I dont want to go the rogaine or any other kind minoxidil route. I was thinking to just try some natural DHT blockers such as Saw Palmetto, Nettle Root, etc. But if I do this and it does start to lower my DHT, regardless if its natural supplements, then does that mean that I will see an increase in Estrogen. So then do I need to take an estrogen blocker as well. But then is this a good thing to have low levels of both DHT and Estrogen. Will my body shut down or something? Wow I am so confused. Someone please shed some light on this for me.

Hair loss is common on both cycle and PCT as your hormone levels are fluctuating incredibly. Certain gear can have metabolites still detectable in your blood for 18 months yes (deca comes to mind).

If you are losing your hair now, 1 year after gear, it is most likely due to genetics. Your body should be fully recovered for quite some time after 1 year off a cycle. Looking at your family genetics can determine if you are prone to MPB.

You could always run finasteride or dutasteride with nizoral shampoo to stop any hair loss, but you stated you dont want to go this route. I am not sure about natural hair loss prevention products.

You should not take an estrogen blocker if you are not on cycle, your body needs estrogen to function and keep muscle mass. Takin an AI will also increase your test levels due to the estrogen/testosterone negative feedback loop, so this would be detrimintal to someone trying to keep their hair.

I don't know what else to say, other than genetics might be working against you and there are some proven hair restoration/prevention drugs out there.

How old are you? Describe your PCT.

    Look up Finasteride.

Definitley look into propecia (Finasteride) It will slow it way down, it has worked well for me. It takes about 1 year for it to work so you want to get it asap.

If I start taking stuff like provillus that will lower DHT to help with hair loss, wont this then result in an increase of estrogen and then cause gyno?

No, lowering dht will not cause an influx in the test/estrogen feedback loop.
