Can someone clarify this for me Please...

I have never done it myself but i see a lot of people replacing Aromasin in their PCT with Proviron.

Any Pros and Cons to this??

I was under the impression that they were not one and the same. I know they aren't.

And at which point would you wanna add either of them to a PCT ??

For Example:

Lets say i run Test Prop for 10 weeks at 350 mgs.

I start my PCT 3 days after my last shot.

And wouldn't it be enough to do say 1-4 Clomid ED 50mgs and 1-6 Nolva ED 20 mgs.

I don't think Aromasin would be needed for such a light cycle right??

Would Proviron Benefit in any way in this PCT without the Aromasin say.... 50 mgs ED in weeks 1-3 ??

Just curious.. I know I am all over the place with this but... its just to satisfy my own quest for knowledge.

Ok so I did a lil bit more research and apparently.. i learned something new that i never knew before... PROVIRON IS CATEGORIZED AS AN AI !!! So apparently it can be used in place of aromasin... :7up:

Proviron is acutally a weak steroid. It's going in my PCT to help maintain gains also. I think you mean Arimidex, not aromasin?

And you are injecting ED correct?

Proviron acts as an AI but it is not. It is an androgen. Many androgenic steroids act as AIs. Masteron, Primobolan, pretty much DHT based or that functions like DHT. They are also suppressive. I wouldn't use Proviron in PCT as it might hinder recovery. Unless there is some research that says otherwise.

Many people use it in PCT with success. If it were up to me, Aromasin all day long.

Proviron is nice on cycle however.

People more experienced and knowledgeable than myself swear by proviron in pct. Far be it from me to question them. I just say if you feel it's acting at all suppressive, drop it. I wouldn't use it myself for this reason, though this may be more paranoia and is not reenforced by evidence I've seen.

Aromasin is tons better than prov for use in PCT.
Prov is NOT an AI.

And ******, no i don't think he means adex LOL.

And aromasin suppressive, hahahahaha.

Anastrozole,(Arimidex) is the aromatase inhibitor of choice. The drug
is appropriately used when using substantial amounts of aromatizing
steroids, or when one is prone to gynecomastia and using moderate
amounts of such steroids. It is manufactured by Zenica Pharmaceuticals
and was approved for use in the United States at the end of Dec 1995.

Proviron, is also an estrogen antagonist which prevents the
aromatization of steroids. Unlike the antiestrogen Nolvadex which only
blocks the estrogen receptors (see Nolvadex) Proviron already prevents
the aromatizing of steroids. Therefore gynecomastia and increased water
retention are successfully blocked. Since Proviron strongly suppresses
the forming of estrogens no re-bound effect occurs.

Teslac,is unique in its effectiveness as an antiestrogen. Like
Proviron, it prevents the aromatizing process of the steroids from the
basis. Thus, Teslac prevents almost completely the introduction of more
estrogens into the blood and subsequent bonding with the estrogen
receptors.

Post#4, but the point here is that ppl are now believing that prov is an AI, this is not only wrong it could cause ppl probs and not just newbs.

I gotta agree with Lats...

It may be used as an AI by some people, but that doesnt mean it actually is.

Youre better off with Aromasin or Adex.
