a doctors thoughts on pct
I live in Canada and i was wondering if i were to go to a dr's and say that i just finished taking steroid what they woudl prescribe me with.
Has anyone done this before and had a dr. put them on pct?
What do u think the dr. would prescribe or do?

You're right, even endochronologists arent totally familiar with PCT as used by BB. Im come to realize this lately as Ive seen a few here in canada. one is well versed with BB and is happy to give HRT if needed, but only reserves HCG for those with *proven* (i.e. 1-2 years) of not a full recovery. Even then i think he was iffy on the anti-Es too.
I've resorted myself to procuring HCG to keep the boys working well while on HRT.
so short story is no, i dont think you'll ever get this treatment for the short term. good luck to you tho

You can always bring up Tamox or Clomid to the doc and say hey man, I just finished a cycle and I need these to get me back to normal.
Doctors suck at a lot of things and I have noticed that when I do my own research and tell them what I want I end up getting it.

I dont think a doctor would just write out a prescription for Tamox and Clomi especially when Tamox is primarliy used to prevent breast cancer and Clomi is a fertility drug for women. So yeah i dont think a primary physician would know anything about running them as a pct

You are forgetting about the medical professions off label use for SERMS.
IE: thousands of clinical studies done on tamox and gyno, thousands of clinical studies done using clomid to test HPTA function.
These two SERMS are still used today in the med profession for these specific off label uses.

I had talked to my endo and family just to see what they would say because I alreadt had pct on hand and they said that my body wouold rebound from it naturally. The endo seemed very knowledgable about the juice the family doc knew nothing. I don't think it is very often that guys walk in and say doc I just finished 12 wks of teat e 500 mg a week what do you think . The family doc flipped out like I was going to die . My endo said o.k. have you done your research. Call me if your run into any sides.

Just out of curosity if you told your primary physician you used a cycle of AAS they are not allowed to report that to authorities right? Its against doctor/patient confidentiality right?

nope. the hypocratic oath has nothing to do with Dr. Patient confidentiality. The hypocratic oath is an ethical stance required by liscensed doctors in which they agree to do no harm and treat the ill to the best of their abilities. I believe they are required to take this oath to be liscensed in the U.S. Dr. patient confidentiality is a legal right that patients have in the U.S. and it has nothing to do with any oath that a doctor may have taken.

The hypocratic oath is like a code of conduct.

I agree, I think most doctors would give you a lecture before they would give you pct.
If you went to a dr. after a cycle and told them what you have done and they suggest no pct why is it that you would want to go ahead and take pct when a dr who knows(or atleast is suppose to know) what the best thing is? Is it mainly because it's going to help you keep your gains? what would the doctor say to you about the problems that could arise with taking Clomid or Nolvadex ? I'm not talking short term, what are the long term side effects that pct can have on your hormonal system?

I've done this. My doctor was into bodybuilding himself in the 80s & 90s (that's why I go to him) but his steroid knowledge is a little old school. He had never heard the term "PCT" but prescribed me hCG and offered me Cialis and an anti depressant for the symptoms of low test until it comes back. He didn't seem to think nolvadex or clomid would be productive in bringing my test levels back, but did once prescribe me nolvadex when I had slight gyno symptoms.
