pct anavar and nolvadex?

My trainer suggested using anavar for my pct with nolvadex 40/40/20/20. is this normal? he said the anavar would keep my size from the cycle i did of 500 test/300 deca. 10 weeks test and 8 weeks deca. im confused as to why i would use the anavar for a pct unless i was bridging. please help, is this safe?

Would you discontinue the var and only use the nolvadex then? Im only a week into the var and starting the nol today. Cycle of deca ended 3 weeks ago and test ended last week.

use nolvadex/clomid

what type of test were you using ie enathate/sus/cyp etc??

You should not use var for pct. You should have run the test longer than all the other compounds.

The reason why your trainer suggest you to do that is because oxandrolone (Anavar) is a strong DHT's derivate , just like mesterolone (Proviron).
Anavar will not keep your size only , it will also keep your estrogen low and your strenght/libido UP.

One of the problem about this PCT is the toxicity of the products.
The combination tamoxifene/oxandrolone is not the most healthy thing for your liver.

I would not use Anavar for PCT . Go with Nolva and - in case of libido issue - try to get some proviron, 25mg. a day. Proviron is not toxic as Anavar and, at this dosage, won't suppress your axis.

I would stop Testo and keep Anavar only for 2 weeks, then start PCT with Nolvadex and or Clomid.
