Took Nolvadex, massive loss of libido, PLEASE HELP, NEED ADVICE

Hey...I was on TRT for a month and then took Nolvadex 20mg daily for about two weeks (because I wanted to stop the TRT, I'm too young, I'm 26).

I have totally lost my libido (bad).

I know I shouldn't have taken it, but I did. I'm just asking for advice. This has me so depressed.

I started the Testosterone cream, it helped a lil, but not really. I made an appointment with an endo, and I'm also going to go see my TRT doctor tomorrow.

    This is what I did.

August 19th-Sept8th, 1 Gram, Testosterone Liposomal Cream, 10%, 100mg daily.

Sept8-Sept 21, Nolvadex-D, 20mg daily (lost weight, a lil hair, and libido is gone).

October 2-8, 1g Testosterone Liposomal Cream, 10%/100mg, daily.

    October 6, Nolvadex-D 20mg, qty: 1

October 8-10, 2g Testosterone Liposomal Cream, 10%/100mg, daily.

And now I stopped the Test cream, waiting to see my doc.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

PS: I think my body has shutdown all natural test. production and this is causing the libido problems.

I really wish to stop everything, I know I might need the TRT since I started it, but would prefer to post pone it for as long as possible. Although I wasn't really on it for too long.

    Any other suggestions?

    PS: Thanks for responding.

You've been on HRT for around a month?

    Why are you on HRT?

    Who put you on it?

    Past cycles? How was recovery?

a little HCG should do the trick. oh and TRT is crappy because the amount they use is too little for young guys

No past cycles, I already posted what I did so far.

Yes only for a month, but I wanted to stop, so I took the Nolvadex .

I was on HRT because I was stupid, I wanted to do steroids , but couldn't get any, so I thought the TRT would help with some gains and I would cycle that. But in reality I don't need it and TRT doesn't work like that. My natural Test levels were 1056 one test, and 750 on another test. The Doc is a quack. He should have sent me out of the office, the day I came in. I'm also stupid for even going, but what's done is done.

I stopped taking everything, and I'm getting some bloodwork done (from the quack) and also I am going to an endo doc on Monday. I am hoping the endo doc can straighten everything out.

From what I am researching, it does seem like I need HCG to get normal again.

Do you guys think I'm doing the right thing, stopping everything (I know I'll feel like crap for a lil bit, have been until I took the last cycle of Test cream) and going to an Endo? He knows the situation and has agreed to see me.

I do know that I might never be able to get back to the levels I was at, but I hope so.

    Any other suggestions?

PS: I know I acted stupidly about everything, but I feel like I'm doing the right thing now.

I dont think you need HCG.

Your experiencing what bodybuilders go through in PCT. It will pass if your HPTA is functioning normally.

    wk 1-3 Clomid 50mg/ED
    wk 3-6 Clomid 25mg/ED
    wk 1-6 Tamox 20mg/ED

    That should bring you back.

"1056" is an excellent total T level and so is "750".

Dont use anymore HRT, be in injections of Test, cream, gel, whatever.

Get LH, FSH, total T, free T, estrogen and prolactin tested.

I saw the TRT Doc. He actually seemed pretty knowledgeable, he told me to stop everything and gave me a bunch of blood work to do.

I am having it done tomorrow:

    TSH

    DHEA-Sulfate

    Estradiol

    IGF-1

    Lipid Panel w/ Reflex DLDL

    Testosterone Free and Total

    CMP

    LH

    FSH

    PSA, Total.

    CBC

How does that blood work sound? Also gave me a script for Viagra.

I am starting to feel better about this, I guess the depression along with no libido really brought me down.

You guys have been great on here to me. Thanks for all the replies.

PS: Since I am getting the viagra, should I avoid sex because it might lower my test? Should I wait 2-3 more weeks? I heard about this on some forum. Also, didn't even charge me for the visit and I got a huge discount for the blood work, $ 340.00 (my insurance won't cover it).

Why do you think I should use any more anti-estorgens (clomid). My E weren't really elevated that much from the TRT, and then I reduced them dramatically with Nolva?

    Here is what I did.

August 19th-Sept8th, 1 Gram, Testosterone Liposomal Cream, 10%, 100mg daily.

Sept8-Sept 21, Nolvadex -D, 20mg daily (lost weight, a lil hair, and libido is gone).

October 2-8, 1g Testosterone Liposomal Cream, 10%/100mg, daily.

    October 6, Nolvadex-D 20mg, qty: 1

October 8-10, 2g Testosterone Liposomal Cream, 10%/100mg, daily.

    October 11: Stopped everything.

    Test: Natural prior to TRT
    Test, Total: 04/01/09 = 1068, 07/10/09 = 792.
    Test, Free %: 04/01/09 = 2.09, 07/10/09 = 1.89
    Free Test: 04/01/09 = 223.2, 07/10/09 = 149.7

Test: After Nolvadex and use of TRT (see timeline):
    Test, Total: 09/25/09 = 989, 10/14/09 = 1106
    Test, Free %: 09/25/09 = 2.08, 10/14/09 = 2.01
    Free Test: 09/25/09 = 205.7, 10/14/09 = 222.3

    Estradiol (I don't have a natural baseline):
    Estradiol Free: Sept 25 = 0.83, October 14 = 0.89.
    Estradiol, Free %: Sept 25=2.52, October 14 = 2.33
    Estradiol, PG/ML: Sept 25=33, October 14 = 38

    LH
    Natural Level: 04/01/09 = 3.7
    After TRT & Nolvadex: 10/14/09 = 10.9

    IGF-1
    Natural Level: 04/01/09 = 238
    After TRT & Nolvadex: 10/14/09 = 235

Other Tests that show a large difference:
    AST (natural): 04/01/09 = 29
    AST (after Nolva & TRT) = 10/14/09 = 18
    ALT (natural): 04/01/09 = 21
    ALT (after Nolva & TRT) = 10/14/09 = 9
    DHEA Sulfate: 04/01/09 = 413, 10/14/09 = 255

Everything else tested looks the same. The only big difference is the LH. The Nolvadex must have skyrockted it. I'll have more bloodwork done in a month.

I'm slowly feeling a little better. Libido is coming back slowly. I am thinking that was just a common side effect of the Nolva. I am worried about the LH, I am worried about having a negative feedback since it has risen dramatically and I read it can lead to testicular failure.

The TRT Doc told me to continue without nothing (don't want to touch anything again) and wants to see me in a month.

What do you guys think led to my loss of libido, depression and fatigue? I was completely healthy prior to TRT (dumb mistake, I know).

    Thanks again!
