clomid dosage , once and for all.

    hey guys,

i've been really confused about clomid dosage , some say 100 mg is needed others say no more than 50 mg , and some say 25 mg per day is more than
    enough .

my question is , is there much difference between the increase seen from 25 mg Vs 100 mg for example ?? or the hpta can be stimulated only so much ?
i know that 25 mg can raise test up to about 145% , 100 mg is told to raise it the same level too ??

if i could take less clomid for the same result , it would save me the side effects and some cash too.

    thanks .

Clomid 25mg/ED for 8 weeks raised endogenous T by 146%, whilst 100mg/ED for 8-12 weeks raised it by 248%. That would obviouslt suggest more is slightly better with Clomid.

Sides can be apparent at any dosage with Clomid is some users. Although even the sensitive ones can tolerate 25mg/ED.

If you can tolerate higher doses of Clomid than 25-50mg/ED, use larger doses.

hey swifto thanks bro for the reply i was hoping you answer my thread.

one thing i noticed is , even if i take 100 mg of clomid , i have HORRIBLE side effects for the first 2 days , i am basically a girl PMSing during that time , then things start to get much better .

now i am on my second week of 100 mg per day , i dont feel any huge side effects that i cant tolerate . I was going to switch to nolva but i changed my mind .

The thing is , i really dont feel anything as far as rising test levels or being back to normal , is that common a lot ?

i mean i feel ok , but not with that "youth energy " and being pumped up for life all the time.

You could add Tamoxifen at 20mg/ED too, if you feel you need too.

After 3 weeks of Clomid 50mg/ED and Tamox 20mg/ED it put my total T at around 900 ng/l.

You really need BW after PCT to see exactly whats happend. Get BW done 4-5 weeks after PCT has ended.

the reason people will tell you different dosages is because of the clomid side effects. Clomid will effect everyone a little differently. I have never had problems so I use a higher dosage. Clomid is important for your pct, at least in my opinion, so just figure out what dosage works best for you.
