Good news on PCT from 2 year cruise!!
Hi all.
Just wanted to update folks here on how I did with my PCT, after being on for 2 years straight.
All I was on was about 200mg EW, sometimes going as high as 400mg EW of test Cyp.
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 220
BF%: had gotten up to about 18%.
I got the point where I realized 2 things.
1. My Wife wants more kids one day, so needed to get my sperm production back (as I once had it tested, at Zero). If it came back I could freeze some.
2. I had gotten fat, and Lazy. Just was no longer into things mentally, and was not really caring what my body looked like so much anymore. I could have gone on a diet, but figured I would take a break first, diet once I went back on.
So I was time for a break.
Before the break I ran a course of HCG 500 iu. 2x EW for about 30 days.
Then like a dumbass I stayed on the test for just a bit longer. Pussed out. Than changed my mind and attempted it again.
Took Clomid at 35mg ED for 30 days. Nolva at 10mg ED for the first 20 as well.
Took a few sprays of LION liquid letro at the end, just to knock out any lingering extra estradiol that may flood back in once the SERMs were done.
Let the dust settle for 2 weeks and had blood checked.
Total testosterone 453 on a 300-1000 scale.
Not the best on earth, but it was good enough that I could still have sex with my wife.
Waited a few more weeks and had sperm count tested, and stored.
Had 36 million per ml, and out of 2.1ml (not my best ever for volume either) had 76 million. The Cryolab told me this was better than average, and is more than enough to use for future fertility.
So what have I learned?
That PCT is powerful if you stick through it, and while it is not a good idea to cruise and plan to ever go off, it IS possible to get things restarted if you have been on and are worried you now cannot.
Since my testosterone is medium low, and sometimes I like to feel jacked, am going back on a cycle again this spring. Will likely not be on longer than 4 months this time.
When I do go back on, I will be on a DIET too. Cannot be a perma-bulker anymore.
This is not an advocation of cruising. However if you have been on a very long cycle and are afraid PCT may not work for you, it is worth a shot.
Even for those on TRT who just may want to freeze some Sperm, you may get some swimmers back too.Last edited by meathead320; 04-03-2010 at 07:29 PM.
