Please help with any advise or suggestions!!!!
A little background… I’m a 34 year old healthy male, 155 pounds, 5 foot 9 inches, probably around 12% body fat. I work out 5 times a week. I wanted to try steroids but was scared about black-market counterfeits and so I went to a Testosterone Treatment Doctor “Male Enhancement Clinic”. After taking a blood test, the Doctor said that my Test Levels were normal at 512… but wanted them to be “optimal” at around 800-1000. He had not checked any other stats like Estrogen levels and says that because I’m taking such a low dosage, that he won’t be checking it.
I’m receiving 1cc Testosterone Cypionate shot about every 9 days (no stacking) from a nurse in the clinic. Shot #1 Jan 18, Shot #2 Jan 27, and Shot #3 Feb 5. Now, 1 ½ days after my second shot, I started feeling itchiness on my right nipple and the next day I noticed my right nipple was puffy. This is not normal for me. Since I was little, I’ve always had flat nipples, unlike other childhood friends who had puffy type nipples.
I was able to get a prescription for Arimidex from my Doctor, 1mg (1 tiny white pill) once a week. My insurance only covered 4 pills (1 month supply at that rate). I took my first pill on Feb 1st. By this point I was already paranoid and after reading a crapload of articles on gyno being permanent except for costly surgery… so I took my second pill on Feb 5th. I took my 3rd pill Feb 11th. I’m trying to get my hands on some Nolvadex and Letrozole to see if it will help, maybe even Clomid!
As of today, Feb 14th, I’m still seeing the puffiness around both nipples. I’ve shown it to a couple of friends who’ve had gyno and they say, “It doesn’t look that bad”, “It’ll probably go away”. I’ve heard there different types of gyno, but mine is puffy nipples and around the nipple. It forms a little pyramid or dome. Not enough to be very obvious when I’m wearing tight shirt.
The sad thing is that I’m not seeing a very big gain in size or workout weight gain! I’m only seeing “the worst” side effect.
Questions:
If I see puffiness now, which was during and after the short cycle… now that I’ve stopped taking the shots, is there a possibility that it can go away after a while?
I’ve heard that if you take other steroids, then other medicines are needed to prevent or get rid of gyno. I’m only took Testosterone Cypionate . Arimidex seems to be most recommended. Should I try different types to see if they react to my case of gyno better?
Please let me note:
I understand the Doctor I saw was bad and only wanted my money. I know that Arimidex is an AI and that Breast Cancer patients take it, and I know it's side effects. Can anyone give any advise or suggestions, if possible? My gyno just started a couple weeks ago and I want to do everything possible to get rid of it or keep it from getting worse. My General Practitioner said to “wait and see what happens”, and didn’t send me to an Endocrinologist.
Thank you for your help in advance, from the bottom of my heart guys.Last edited by juliosalsa; 02-14-2011 at 03:35 PM. Reason: Forgot to write important information.
