Pulsatile patterns of gonadotropins and testosterone in man: the effects of
clomiphene, with and without testosterone added.
Naftolin F, Judd HL, Yen SS.
Abstract:
Unstable patterns of serum LH, FSH and T concentrations were demonstrated during
frequent interval sampling in 4 normal men. No consistent relationship of T
levels to the ? of LH rises could be seen. However one-third of the LH peaks was
followed by a rise in T levels and each T elevation was preceded by an LH peak.
The frequency of release and half-times of dissapearance for LH and FSH did not
change during clomiphene treatment in 2 of these normal subjects (100mg/day);
elevated serum gonadotrophins resulted from an increased magnitude of release
per pulse. A similar exaggeration of T secretion was seen. Testosterone
propionate injection (25mg) on day 4 of clomiphene treatment further elevated
circulating T levels without lowering serum gonadotrophins.
Is there any point in running clomid while on cycle? Maybe on a cruise? My style of cycling is slingshot as Ronnie outlined but i PCT after two blasts or 24 weeks on. I typically cruise on 125mgs of Test for 4 weeks so was wondering if running clomid during this 4 week time frame do anything.
Thanks in advance

No, not in my opinion.
I dont think SERMs are able to bypass the negative feedback loop and increase endogenous LH and/or FSH in the presence of increased androgen and/or estorgen activity.
Testosterone preperations take about 2-3 weeks to fully shutdown the HPTA. The dose will vary this time frame as will age and state of the HPTA (pre endo. T levels).
Will Clomid or any other SERM prolong this peroid... I'm not sure.
I'd like to see the full paper on this study, I will look around when I have the time.

This study is not applicable to your theory by the way.
One single Test Prop shot of 25mg will not cause cessation of endogenous androgens, no way.
The study was also done over 8 days I think...Again, not applicable to us (bb'ers).
The dose and duration are both variables in HPTA inhibition (I'm only talking about Test here).
