Hello everyone,
Been a long time reader of this forum, but my first time posting with the hopes the someone can help me out here please.
When I was around 24 - 25 I was working out 5 days a week, eating properly, etc, I decided to do a cycle of Test250 and Finabol (if I remember correctly) in which I gained some nice size. My confidence was through the roof, my libido was on fire which made my sex life AMAZING! And everything else was great at the time. Due to the lack of knowledge I had at the time, I didn't come off properly and had no PCT. Sex / libido was still there, balls were normal, didn't suffer from gyno, etc... But, I eventually stopped working out after...
A little current background about me, I'm 31 years old, male, 5'7, 167lbs (don't know my BF%). I have been pretty much inactive from working out for the last 5 years due to sheer laziness. My eating habits were horrible, eating garbage foods, pizza, fried, etc.. until 36 days ago when I decided enough is enough, and have gone on a strict diet, eating 6 meals a day as opposed to 2 or 3 large meals, low to no fats, cut the sugar, pops, etc. Drinking lots of water, in taking a lot of protein (125g-150g a day). I've started working out 4-5 times a week and running 3km 4 times a week.
To get to my issue, I'm suffering from symptoms of:
- mild depression (feeling sad / neutral with maybe 5 days out of the month happy)
- extremely low libido (craving for sex pretty much gone) - no desire to have sex (I would LOVE it for it to be there, but it's just not)
- put on a stomach / gut
- my confidence has diminished a lot
After doing research, by the looks of my symptoms, it almost seems as if Low-T is the culprit to these issues so I went to go see my GP (who knows that I have done the cycle mentioned above) and did blood work. I didn't see the results myself, however he assured me my hormones are at of a normal balance. (I have an app. this Thursday, so I will get the BW to post if anyone wants to see). I trust his results, but I still feel as if something if wrong / missing and I'm not too sure what it is... For all I know, my T levels could be perfectly fine and it could just be some sort of chemical imbalance? But on the other hand, it almost seems / feels like that's the answer which I hope isn't as I definitely don't want to go on any repla***ent therapy.
I guess what I'm really trying to ask here is, after all this time without doing any PCT, is it possible that my body may not be producing normal levels of T as they should be / needed and if not can I still do a PCT after all this time?
If that's not the case, does anyone else have any idea or suggestions as what I can do in order to fix / repair these symptoms that I am suffering from, especially the low libido issue?
I'm doing whatever it is that I can in order to try and help my self out and hopefully one or some of you might be able to relate at all?
Thanks for reading. Cohen.
