PCT isn't necessarily a waste of time at your age. It could still be possibly (barring a million other factors) to normal levels.

Of course TRT is also another option if you can't recover.

No reason why you should not recover as well as a 20 year old. This is all individual.
When a 45 year old has a hard time recovering is when he has multiple cycles under his belt.

Why would you consider cruise for a few weeks. That sound dumb. Just do a normal cycle with PCT.

did you get your blood panels prior to cycling? what were your free test results?

at 45+, your normal levels might still be low, and maybe trt is the answer instead of pct.

    just a thought
