Reducing AAS before starting PCT...Any benefit?

Is there any benefit to reducing AAS to 200mg/wk or 150mg/wk or even 75mg/wk to help PCT? It seems, to an uninformed person, that it wouldn't be as big of a shock to the body that way.

Or until you completely come off will your body needs it own, natural test production?

I was thinking that maybe at 75mg, my body will start to compensate or something. ????

Prolly get laughed off the board with this one. lol.

there is no need to taper when coming off as the ester tapers itself as it exits your system during the 14-18 days you wait to start pct...

Thanks. Would tapering from 75mg to 0 over 14-18days be any different then tapering from 75mg to 0 in 14-18 days?

umm I don't understand what your asking...just run your full dose till the last injection then as your waiting for pct it will automatically reduce itself and clear while you wait for pct...why would you not want the full benefit of a consistent dose while you are still on?...let it do its job that's what it was designed to do...

I meant to say...

Any difference from tapering from 75mg to 0 as opposed to tapering from 600mg to 0?

your over thinking this man, if your asking if you will recover quicker id say no but im not a doctor....your going to be suppressed/shut down regardless so why wouldn't you run your cycle full dose till its time to stop...im assuming that's what your getting at no?...

op listen to him this is correct. Just look at the half life if the compound you are running. There is no need to taper off as your levels will drop with the active life of the compounds your running. Just come off and run your pct

Thanks again. I was done with my questions and realized that I goofed on that post so thought I'd restate it.

I'm just dreading coming off. I thought I'd extend the cyle with low dose for a while.

As stated above, no point in tapering down. This was an older practice that has been abandoned.

Thanks to all for responding.

This is a little off topic, but how much AAS does it take to shut down our natural test production? Different for everyone? I was thinking it took 200mg/wk or more.

Anytime you add more exogenous testosterone or other androgens than your body produces it will cause shut down

I get the science part of it, but to me the common sense is that if you are pinning 2 grams and go to 0 versus pinning 75mg and go to 0, it would be easier to go from 75mg.

I likened it to drinkers who drink heavily and stopping versus someone who has a drink eod and quitting. So thats where I came from.

But I see the common sense is more from the standpoint of if your natural test production is shut down, then its shut down. There aren't varying degrees of being shut down. Its shut down and needs to be restarted.

You don't go from 1000 to nothing over night. Your levels drop slowing as your body breaks down the ester
