the idea of time off of gear is equivalent to time on gear plus time on pct , may be best for for your HPTA recovery, but its surely not optimal for gains. it only gives you about 2 cycles per year. or 10 total cycles in a half a decade. thats not a whole lot of gains to be had there with that little of cycling , IF bodybuilding or gaining a lot of muscle is important to you.
for optimal gains , for those that plan on doing PCT after each cycle (which I personally think is not ideal and is over kill), I'd say that just as soon as your HPTA is restarted and your producing a good amount of natty test again, then your ready to go back on (your pct did its job).
if your biggest concern is maintaining optimal natty levels of HPTA function. then you prob shouldn't be running gear in the first place.
but if your running gear for the gains first and foremost, why cut those gains short for the sake of your HPTA if its recovered for the most part anyways.
thats just my opinion and nothing more.. I have no evidence or suggestions for anything, its all just a person decision. there is no wrong or right answer here. wither you wait 2 months between cycles or 2 years. it comes down to what you want to do
