7 months post PCT, no recovery
Hi guys,
Its been more than 7 months, no recovery, gaining fat and losing all muscles. My blood report which I got yesterday:
Free Testosterone : 16pg/ml (range 6-29 according to report) // Online its showing 150-250 pg/ml average, I don't which one is correct
E2: 26pg/ml (range 11-44)
FSH: 1.81mIU/ml (range 1.4-18.1)
LH: 3mIU/ml (range 1.5-9.3)
Prolactin: 14ng/ml (range 2.1-17.7)
Total Testosterone: 125ng/dl (range 165-800) (Before cycle it was ~600)
Cycle Details:
Tren Blend (both shortest and longest ester): 400mg/week (1-12week)
Test Blend (both shortest and longest ester): 400mg/week (4-12week)
Anadrol : 50mg/ED (1-4week)
AI: 0.25mg/EOD (Took only for 2-3 weeks when needed)
HCG : 500IU/week (1-12 week), 2000IU/week (13-16 weeks)
PCT : (after 1month)
Clomid: 100mg/ED (17-18 week), 50mg/ED (19-24week)
Nolvadex : 40mg/ED (17-18week), 20mg/ED (19-26week)
PCT was longer than usual coz last time recovery was very hard and needed to run PCT twice.
It was my 4th cycle, (1st test only, 2nd Test, Deca or 5 weeks[failed cycle], 3rd Test, Deca and 4th Test, Tren)
Lost almost all my last 3 cycles(2.5 years) gaining in just 6 months, body weight is normal but replacing muscles with Fats. Is there anything I can do apart from TRT? Like power PCT or anything else? Saw on another board, running Test E at very low dose 40-50mg/week until we get normal test level and then 2500IU hcg/EOD for 16 days, Nolva 20mg/ED and Clomid 100mg/ED 1-30days, Nolva 20mg/ED 31-45days. Please let me know your experience if you faced same problem and then how you got recovered. Also share your TRT experience at young age if recovery was not possible.

What’s up Soft, lol @ your username but we’ve all been there! Welcome to the forum.
Can you post some stats: Age, weight, and when those past cycles took place? It has been 7mo since your last dose of PCT compounds correct? What low T symptoms are you feeling?
I used to have to ZERO problems PCT in my 20s. I’m 35 now and having a difficult time bouncing back from my cycle one year ago as well. Your total T is very low and prolactin high. My TT is at 431 ng/dL and I felt like garbage, dramatic mood swings, same weight but more fat, low libido, no interest in sex or life. I am currently on prescribed HCG at 2000iu/week (2 weeks in and feeling better). I have been talking to other forum members about Clomid therapy (in place of TRT) as well. I’ve also found that adding in micronutrient supplements like Zinc & Mag, Vit D, B6, 5-HTP, and Boron (per another members rec) have all helped my overall mood and symptoms.. If you’re young like I am, and not ready to commit to lifelong T injections, you may be able to find alternate solutions to restart your bodies natural production. I will say that your proposed idea of taking Low dose Test E and then PCT again is not a good idea. Any exogenous Test will only make your natural recovery harder. Hopefully some others will chime in who are more experienced in blood work.Last edited by ShredBundy; 08-29-2020 at 01:53 PM.

You mentioned running PCT twice in the past due to slow recovery. Did this work well for you? What was the protocol? Another round of clomid at a lower dose, some run EOD, might help. I’d be surprised if you you were completely shut down at 25yo but it’s not unheard of. If you haven’t already, hit that search function and dive deep into this forum. There is a lot of fantastic info on here that can help you from knowledgeable members.

25 is young to start TRT, but I was not a lot older at 32. My total T levels were 3x more than yours and I still felt like crap, having been in the 800-900's in my teens/early 20s.
I hate to recommend TRT at this point, but I think going to a competent Endo would be your best bet. They can get you on the right protocol as they've probably seen success stories with patients. I wouldn't want to handle this on my own or possibly screw yourself up more.
This is the porblem with cycling steroids , at any age. This is a risk you take. Sucks, but that's the way it is. At the very worst, you have to take TRT for the rest of your life and maintain high normal levels, and cycle without needing PCT. Not so bad.

It may be possible that your clomid and nolvadex wasn't legit. You can get LH,FSH and testosterone tested while running pct to assess if it's working or not. Other than that you could try using a combination of hmg and HCG I'd have to do some research on the exact protocol as it's been years since I've read about hmg

Did you run hcg in your previous cycles? The reason I ask is because I never had trouble recovering until I added hcg during cycle. I wonder if it maybe impacts recovery not always in a positive way.
Just my experience and my 2.
With time all will be well again. Good luck to you.

try
1000 iu hcg eod 1-3 weeks
Clomid 150 mg nolvadex 40mg ed week 1 and 2
Clomid 100mg nolvadex 40 mg ed week 3 and 4
Clomid 50 mg nolvadex 20 mg week 5 and 6
Arimidex .25 to .5 mg eod depends on your body and estrogen level week 1-3
then taper it down ew till week 4
Make sure you can deal with 150 mg clomid if not cut it down to 100.
Get blood work done before you start pct at end of week 3 end of week 6 and 2 weeks after pct
Lift heavy eat right sleep right DONOT DRINK take your multi vitamins eat healthy fats and hopefully you ll be back to normal .

I have never used it during a cycle, however my Trt was set up for consistent hcg use, in my opinion and experience once you start using steroids you are taking a chance that your body may never naturally produce at previous levels, and this is past the hcg question but I did a few cycles in my 20’s and it literally took me years to get back right naturally

25 years old...damn
I started trt at 30 or 31...
Hate to say it, but find a hrt specialist...if they deny you, you can still self administer and get blood checked ever so often...tought spot to be in at your age

Congratulations I am glad you are feeling so well. When you mentioned certain things or foods that reminded you of the first month or two when the recovery was tough, I had to agree. I have pajamas from that period that I might just burn I am so thankful to be 5 months post op and doing well. Keep up the good work with your recovery.
