Instruction online state that you should use 5ml of the water. But the bottle I have is very tiny and I was only able to get 3ml in there. So what's next? Did I ruin the formula or what else? My bottle is 5000iu.

You didn’t ruin it. Do the math. 5000iu/3ml = 1667iu per ml

    10 units on insulin pin = 0.1ml = 167iu
    15 units on insulin pin = ~250iu

So how much I should inject? I'm on my sixth week of my 13 wks test cycle.

I think you should research the proper hcg protocol for your needs

    250 IU's x 2 per week is just fine.

I used to do 700 units/week and that was good for a while. Then my balls started shrinking more. so I upped it to 1000, then 1200. I'm at about 1200 now and my balls are still about 70% of what they used to be.

Either I need to administer the dose more often or I'm desensitized. Gonna take a month off HCG soon anyhow.

I buy sterile 10cc vials with a rubber "septum" to put my reconstituted hCG in. And I use 100cc sterile vials to blend my own bac water in (99ccs of sterile water an 1cc of benzyl alcohol).

You can get away with only using the tiny volume of the vial it came in for reconstituting your hCG if you intend taking it all in a single dose (or maybe a couple). But if you're taking it in divided doses, like the 250IUs that kel-kel recommends, it's better to dilute it more. I squirt 2ccs of bac water in the vial, let the pill dissolve, then suck it all out and transfer it to a 10cc vial. Then I put two more CCs of bac water in to rinse and make sure I got it all, draw that out and squirt it in the same 10cc vial. Then I add another 6ccs of bac water so my 5000IUs is diluted in a total of 10ccs of water. Comes to 500IUs per 1cc or 250 IUs per 1/2cc.

Even if you're injecting with a 1cc slin pin, which means it's marked in increments of 0.01ccs, you're better off if you start with a total volume of more than just 3ccs because such a small volume tends to exaggerate the errors in your measurements. So you get more regular doses with more bac water. With 10ccs your measurement error rate would be a bit less than 1/3rd as large as with just the 3ccs.

Besides administering consistent doses, using a larger volume of bac water makes it easier to predict when you'll run out.

Or partially primary. Would have been interesting to track your test and E2 when you changed your dosing.

I've done it like this before but encountered burning at the injection site. I assumed it was from higher concentrations of bac water. Are you injecting the whole 3ccs SubQ?

I pin Test every 3.5 days and the half life of hCG also works out well with an e3.5d administration schedule so I do them together.

I want an average of 100IUs of hCG per day so I pin 350 IUs every 3.5 days (350/100=3.5). Not that it matters but I pin Monday morning and Thursday night, which means I am at peak levels of Test and hCG for the start of the weekend (wink-wink).

I'm diluting 5000 IUs of hCG in 10ccs of bac water which means there's 500IUs of hCG per 1.0cc of solution or 50 IUs per 0.1cc.

    I want 350IUs per dose and 350IUs is 7x50IUs so I'm pinning (7x0.1cc=) 0.7ccs of (5000IUs per 10ccs) solution.

0.7ccs goes into 10ccs 14.3 times so I get 14 doses of hCG per 10cc vial. Refrigerated shelf life of reconstituted hCG varies depending on who you're asking but 60 days is a widely agreed upon and safe number. If I take 14 doses at intervals of 3.5 days each that comes to 49 days of administration, so by starting with 5000IUs and using this administration schedule I never have to worry about my hCG degrading before it's used up.

I'm injecting 250ui since I mixed 3ml with the 5000ui powder. Is this right?

This is really easy to do with pencil and paper.

You've got 5000 IUs of hCG dissolved in 3 ml of water and you want to know how much volume of the resulting solution makes for 250 IUs of hCG.

So 3 ml is to 5000 iu as X ml is to 250 iu ( 3 is to 5000 as X is to 250 )

Put that into a formula and you get ...

Now you have an equation that needs to be solved for X.

Start by cross-multiplying. That is, multiply the number on top on one side by the number on the bottom on the other side.

Then multiply the number on bottom on the first side by the number on the top on the second.

    Once you've cross-multiplied, you'll get this:

Note that it doesn't matter which side of the equals sign you put which the two terms on. Either way you'll get the same answer.

Now the task is to get rid of everything on the left except the X.

And by the rules of algebra, you can do anything you want to one side of the equation provided you do the same to the other.

The term on the left is 5000 times X.

We want to isolate the X and we can do that by dividing by 5000, because
if we multiply by 5000 and then divide by 5000, all we're doing is undoing what we just did and the net change is zero.
    In other words, X x 5000 ÷ 5000 = X

But now we have to do the same (divide by 5000) to the other side of the equation.

We've already established that 5000X ÷ 5000 equals X, so the left term is done. Now just complete the math on the right side.

    3 x 250 is 750, and 750 ÷ 5000 is 0.15

This means that with a concentration of 5000 IUs dissolved in 3ccs of water, each 0.15ccs contains 250 IUs of hCG.

It takes a hell of a lot less time to work it out on paper than it did for me to create this post.

I had to create a second post to get the sixth image in.

If you switched to diluting with 10ccs of bac water, it works out like this:

Now you're administering and even 1/2 of a cc to get your 250 IUs.

The reason I suggest using a more dilute solution is that using the same measuring device (a 1cc slin pin), the error in terms of absolute volume will be roughly the same on average but because you use 3x the volume for the more diluted solution, the error as a percentage of the volume of the hCG will be 1/3rd less. So a more dilute solution gives you greater precision in dosing.

But it also means you spend more money on bac water. So make your bets and take your chances.

I'm injecting 25 units. Am I doing it wrong then? Maybe I should lowered to 15?

The stories vary depending on the source. Pretty much everybody agrees that it's good for a month. Some sources say it's good for a month even if you don't refrigerate it. Some sources say it's good for two months but only if you 'fridge it. Six months, ... I'd say the odds are against it.

But I don't think it goes 'bad' because there's nothing bio-active in it, it just loses potency. Unless it's turned cloudy or glows in the dark or has sea monkeys swimming in it, in which case some contamination probably has snuck in and you maybe shouldn't use it.

I've definitely noticed the difference between the beginning of an HCG bottle and the end. I bought some 10,000 IU bottles of HCG which typically last me around 3 months. Just last week I mixed a new bottle of HCG with Bac water (same brand and concentration). Before the new bottle I was shooting around 450 IU every 3 days and my balls were still shrinking a bit I was thinking I'm becoming desensitized to the HCG.

With the new batch, I'm doing 350 IU every 3 days and I feel like my sex drive, ball size, and (ehm) load have increased, and I feel better. Feels like I'm on a mini cycle of sorts, along with my ~150-175 mg/week of test.

Edit: just thought of something... some doctors/sources recommend cycling off of HCG every few months to re-sensitize the testes. If the HCG is degrading toward the second half of the bottle, I'm thinking that if you're maintaining the same doses, you wouldn't need to cycle off the HCG, because you're taking a smaller concentration anyhow - for a month or so.
