Have a play with your camera, I'm sue it can produce something better than that, does it have a close up mode? (often depicted as a flower)

ive tried but its terrible u cant make out any text the quality of the lens just isnt good enough, so can nobody tell me if its good or not from the specifiec information? surely the make

You need to use a digi camera, and not your camera phone. Camera phones take crappy close ups and pics for that matter.

Do you have a scanner? Place a vial on your scanner and try that.
