    Flex vs Ronnie

In 1996, Flex was untouchable, even from Ronnie, here are a couple of pics of their 1996 feud:

Flex had lines/striations/symmetry that Coleman will never have.

Flex was all about grace/looks/etc., not loading up on gallons of GH, eating the world, and being distended so much in the mid-section that his abs stuck out further than his chest.

Ronnie Coleman is big, no if's/and'/but's, however he is far from what one would call aesthetically pleasing, which is SUPPOSED to be what BODYBUILDING is all about.

Unfortunately in this day/age, with millions of kids to influence in the market of supplements and hype, "bigger is better". Truly a change of perspective over the years.

I prefer the look of old ANY DAY.

I would def. take the look of old anyday also. Ronnie coleman is disgusting with his third-trimester belly (sorry deca , it's true).

i agree with that as well. i like the physique of some of the older olympians. Some were mass monsters as well, but the symmetry was near perfect, or so it was strived for! Dorian yates for example, was HUGE, BUT his symmetry was still proportionate to his size, even when he could be compared to coleman for pure mass.

I liked arnold as well. He was not the biggest bodybuilder, but aesthetically, he was near perfect. THAT is the physique i am striving for, not this asymmetrical crap we see today!

    What do you mean "together"?

As well, he doesn't even have regular abs, he has some weird pattern that looks like a center-piece for a dining room table or some sh*t. He has no six pack, he has a mess.

Both Dexter Jackson & Jay Cutler should of beat Ronnie in the O final challenge round especially Dexter.. And as far most muscular pose I thought Markus Ruhl was a bit more but heck my miniscule opinion means diddly squat.

Something about flex physique is just truly beatifull. I cant put my finger on it but every muscle on him is like a work of art. Or every muscle except his abs that are fuggly.

He has good lines, good symetry, good proportions, full muscle bellies and good seperation. IMO that is what makes his physique look so good. Also realize he is like a human version of the jacked cow, he has the myostatin genetic mutation.

thats too bad that basically flex and shawn ray are the last of a dying breed of bodybuilders. they are the best looking by any competitor. im not into the size and thickness that the new guys like cutler and coleman are having. its just not normal. it looks like their genetically mutated freaks. IMO though, so all of you who like that sort of look dont take my words wrong thinking im bashing on them but i just think that the old style bodybuilders just look better. I have to say this because all of the old bodybuilders and even flex and shawn ray are out to look like a work of art. they always refer to looking like a michaelangelo sculpture. thats what its all about. ART! and they perfected it to a "POINT"

dont forget about dexter. Shawn and flex arent the last of the asthetic bodybuilders. Dexter imo is better then shawn ever was and almost as good as flex.

I hate to be the first one to say this but I think Ronnie at the 03 looked a helluva lot better to me than Flex ever did. The size Ronnie has on him is unfrickinbelievable and he dident win all those olympia's for nothing you know, I know many (if not all) of you guys prefer the astheticaly pleasing look of a well built as well as proportioned look but Coleman is just....a monster.
