    There's points to be made for both sides, but from some of the pics I;ve seen of Sandow, that guy was absolutely jacked for his time. I've never seen abs from way back then. REspect

    Some did but not all did.the ones that did think water was bad for u during a workout where pretty much seen as cranks and faddists.

    Yeh i'm striving for the kinda of Physique Sandow had when he was alive,which means i'm having to study the books written by the old timers and apply the info and exercises in them to building myself up.

    Does anyone here know Georg Hackenschmidt's weight lifting records? I'd love to know what kinda weight he pushed around back then.

    I've been searching all over but I can't find it anywhere....
