Beginning of a new era. Ronnie was 9th the year before and no one thought he would actually win this contest until he stepped on stage. He left everyone in shock. Ronnie weighed 247 lbs a good 5-10 lbs lighter than what he weighed the year before which helped him to have the best conditioning in his life. In the history of the sport we have not seen a more muscular, dense, striated physique until Ronnie started posing.
