    Is this Var legit?

    The tablets are pure white, no markings on them. 10mg each.

    It might be...but it could easily be melatonin.
    That's a random bottle with a home-made label and blank tabs.

    Does melatonin have a sweet taste? I licked one of the tablets and it did not taste sweet at all.
