Exclamation I know where you live!!!

Hello everyone. I used to be a member here a while ago (username was "MartyMcFly" but don't have that email anymore so I can't use that account). I was browsing around and came upon the pictures forum again. I noticed that a few pics on there still had their EXIF data on there. Using that data, I can find the GPS coordinates of the place you took the photo. With this I can find out your address on Google Maps. It would only take a second to find out the owner of the house if one was so inclined.

I wanted to bring this to everyone's attention since you are participating in and discussing illegal activities. It is not only the police you have to worry about, some may want to rob you if you post pics of your stash.

Here is a link to a freeware program that will strip this data: Wouldn't let me post the link but use google.

Thank you for your time and be safe out there.

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

Your name sounds familiar. Hope you have been well. School, life and work have kept me out of the gym for a while but finally back in it.

I wish police would come to Kuwait. Would be an interesting time. But thank you for the heads up.

I am not 100% sure. The camera has to have a GPS in in so cell phones are the only ones I have seen. I know nothing about cameras so I don't want to say it is only for cell phones since GPS wouldn't be that hard to put in a camera. I would think you would know if you took a picture that could be geo tagged.

You can turn this feature off on all the phones I have seen. I only found out about this about a year ago. I never have my GPS accessible by my apps so I don't worry about it. There is an extension for Chrome that allows you to view the data with only a right click.

There are freeware programs that will remove this data. CNet downloads has one.

There was an expose' on this awhile back on television, iirc. And this feature as you have already identified, can be controlled easily. So no fear unless youre unaware of this. Thanks for the heads up reminder!

Btw Snowman, feel free to trace my data and pop over. Im cooking up some steaks shortly.

As long as the GPS function of your device is disabled you should be fine.
