Too many new guys assume that injecting steroids will simply lead to significant muscle growth and an attractive, shredded physique. This is only true when you have established yourself in the gym for 2-3 years of dedicated training AND you have learned how to properly fuel your body. The mistake many new guys make is that steroids are virtually harmless or at least, one cycle is safe. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Hormones in your body regulate a number of essential functions, including but not limited to, sleep/wakefulness, sex drive (aka libido), mood, appetite, memory, cardiac function (to some degree), growth, immunity, and the distribution of body fat and muscle. Taking steroids can (and most likely will) impede many of these functions and lead to several problems which may be short term, long term, or completely permanent.
We advocate education and SAFE use of steroids when a person is mentally and physically prepared to accept the challenges associated with steroids. If something as simple as an "AI" is unfamiliar, you have no business injecting steroids.
Moreover, steroids will not make you committed to training and nutrition. The commitment must come from YOU and in the absence of that commitment, you are putting yourself at unnecessary risk. Your first priorities should be (1) learning how to eat to support proper lean body mass gains and (2) develop the training techniques appropriate for you to attain the goals you desire.
Yes, you may face some harsh criticism here, but remember, most people have your health and well being in mind and they hear these kinds of stories and unreasonable decisions from new guys daily. It's frustrating because many of these new guys could avoid problems if they came here seeking mentorship and knowledge BEFORE injecting potentially harmful substances into their body without appreciating the implications of those actions.
Humble yourself to the advice of our membership and I hope you'll make the wise choice to follow their lead and avoid steroid usage for now.
Good luck on the journey ahead!
