    Cardio

How much cardio is too much, can I still do cardio and make good strength gains? I am about 205, and I've gained about 20 pounds in the last few weeks, along with strength.

Its a good idea to do light cardio a couple days a week just to keep the vascular and lung systems functioning well. Too much can be devasting for strength. Those that are trying to go up weight classes will usually do zero cardio. At 205 lbs are you planning on going to the 198s or add some more weight for the 220s?

keep it simple. brief walkat abot 3-4miles and hor on a 5- 8 incline for a half hour every other day is fine, if you are trying to drop weight than every day is fine

Well now I'd prefer to cut back to 195 (intramural weightlifting), so my numbers could be better. But in the long run, bulk up more, 220.

    Thanks for the help.

    Incorporate GPP with cardio -

    Longer/faster sled pulls, etc.
