Research update on dead lifts
Here's reasearch update I found interesting...
I Think I do all types of dead lifts but the Sumo.
Can anyone tell me if in power lifting comps, if there's choice in conventoinal or sumo.
This research didn't go into Romanian dead lifts which I do first, light weight 135lb for 30reps 2 sets then into a conventional dead lift @225lb for 15 Reps 2sets into 315lb straight leg deads 8-10 reps 2sets into 405lbs 4-6 reps 3sets convetional deads.

yes you havethe choic in a contest, also if you are traing the dead for pwerlfiting, you are doing WAY to many reps when you are just warming up!good rule of thumb, no more than 8 reps for the dead and 10 reps for SLDL or romanian deadlifts
