Strongman/powerlifting $ or £ ?
Guys.How much money (prize money) is the average for powerlifting and strongman events/meets at different levels,as i have never seen any info on this subject? Prize money only (no sponsorship £ $)!

The "average" powerlifting or strongman contest give a trophy as its prize. Even most Nationally sanctioned meets may only give reimbursement for expenses if you are lucky (Amatuer status prevents monetary prizes). That would be average. If you're dealing with the top "high profile contests" (ie The Arnold Bench and Powerlifting Meet, World's Strongest Man etc...) you can see top purses go from 5000-25000. Not sure how much the Met-rx overall prize is. I know the overall prize has been increased...but this is the superbowl of strongman contests and you couldn't even make a living on the prize.

It is kind of funny really. Everyone I know enjoys watch the World's Strongest Man competition even if they are not into sports. And there is still a lack of prize money? I think liberals keep it out of the main stream because they want to faggotize america. Nothing like some good ol' testosterone to turn young boys into men.
