no... a famous line from louie simmons... you can't get any stronger at this point but you sure can get a hell of a lot weaker... (or something like that ) meaning it's not worth the risk of hurting or tweaking something... be patient you are supposed to feel like your just dying to lift something... everything needed from you for this contest should already of been done... good luck and keep us posted!

I absolutely agree. The only thing you can do by training is screw things up the last few days before the meet. It sounds like you've prepared yourself so the next job is to go in and perform. I would avoid any further lifting for the bench. Put all that nervous energy to use on contest day. Good luck to you.

Man I really don't want to post any picks bro,I like to fly under the radar, any how here's my results guys, got scratched on my first 2 for racking before the command,415,425,450,I had at least 40-60 lbs. left in me just didnt realize it till my last lift,I would have went alot heavier if I wouldn't have gotten scratched on my first 2,that really fvcked with my head, but anyhow I felt very strong on the last one the only regret I have is opening up too light,I would of finished 2nd if I would of opened with 450 and went from there,no chance for 1st,that guy shattered the state record with a 570 in the 220,oh well got another one in shreveport on may13th,I'll let you all know how it turns out,
damn, should of opened with 450 damn.
