Who has records in here?
Who holds records in here? You can be vague if you don't want to risk your identity.
I plan on breaking a squat record this summer, I drilled 605 my first time in a suit w/ loose briefs back in December. I'd be in the Juniors-198. The record for one federation is only in the 650 ballpark. I am quite confident that I would have surpassed that by now if it weren't for my athletic season holding me back. I think it's time to drop the other sport. I'll get it back though.
What do you guys got?

doc is going to hate this thread
I have Junior and collegiate records at 275 and SHW. This past year I set a squat record at 723 single ply, bench record 555 single ply and 525 raw. I missed a DL record at the state level by a couple of pounds in SHW. I put on 60 pounds and this gut probably took 30 pounds of what I would have had at 275 on the DL.

Not to take anything away from personal accomplishments but in the sport of powerlifting, records are for the most part meaningless due to the abundance of organizations and use (misuse) of equipment.
I can say I hold 3 national records (and many Teen/Jr/Coll) however all 3 of these are not even close to what the best lifts were in my weight class in a different organization. Hard to keep up consitancy and ligitimate records when there too many organizations each with thier own set of rules.
PR is what you are shooting for...putting it all together on contest day...I like to win as much as the next guy, but I'd rather increase my total from last contest by 20-40 lbs and finish 3rd in a good meet, than enter a sup-par meet, match my total from my last contest and finish as the national champion of the Joe Smith Powerlifting Federation.
